always be all of you

always be all of you

Melissa Moynihan

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

I obtained a Master of Arts degree in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and completed my undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies at Bowling Green State University.

I work with children (birth to adolescent) and adults of all ages. I specialize in mood and anxiety disorders, self-esteem, behavioral struggles in children, ADHD coaching, parenting techniques and support, individual therapy, and family therapy.

My therapeutic approach often includes a mixture of talk therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and large amounts of empathetic guidance and support.

Therapy is a safe space to discover one’s self, at any age; guiding you towards a deeper sense of awareness, which in turn, aids in healing and growth; positive self-talk, healthy boundaries, and self-awareness are skills essential to all ages, and are a foundation for being one’s best self.

I will adjust the therapeutic space to fit each individual’s unique needs.
